Around early November I was approached by a great Gig Harbor couple to redo their entry stair railing. They invited us over for dinner and to get a look at the house. I took my inspiration for the railing from what I knew of their personalities. As you can tell from the results, they are a pretty fun pair!!!

Sixth Avenue Can Do Project - Nov 2006
I was fortunate enough to be one of 5 artists invited to participate in Tacoma's Sixth Avenue Business District's Can Do Project. Artists were commissioned to transform ordinary public trash cans into functional pieces of art that would be placed along 6th Ave to beautify this emerging Tacoma hotspot. One of the most exciting aspects for me is that I see my work almost daily on my commute and I see people stopping to look and touch this strange object that has landed on their sidewalk!
